Clever Tips to Teach Kids to Paint Clouds

Step outside and take a look at the sky. What do you see? Big, fat, fluffy clouds or long, swirly, wispy clouds? What colour are they? Light blue, pastel pink, gloomy dark grey? There are all kinds of different clouds! Today we're going to make our own.

In this draw-and-paint-along, artist and teacher Lili took us high up in the sky where we got to draw, paint, and shade our very own clouds!

Lili taught us how to blend with a dry brush, how to create highlights and shadows, and how to add black or white to make colours darker or lighter.

 We had tons of fun painting together!
