What's your flavour? Vanilla with sprinkles? Mint choc chip? Raspberry swirl in a sugar cone? That ooey gooey, melty, sticky, sugary goodness... mmm. Everybody loves ice cream!
In this draw-and-paint-along, artist and teacher Lili took us to the ice cream parlour where we got to create our own sugar cone stacked with blobs of scrumptious ice cream!
Lili taught us all sorts of pastel drawing techniques; cross hatching, outlining, blending, pressing hard and soft, and how to create a dripping texture, sprinkles and confetti with small strokes.
In the end, our pictures looked good enough to eat!
We had tons of fun painting together!
