18 months - 6 year old kids

These classes are for toddlers & preschoolers and their parents/ carers. You can pick any lessons that you like and work at a speed that you and your students feel comfortable with. Always remember to make the craft first before presenting a class. We will be uploading new lessons on an ongoing basis.

Ice painting is a lots of fun, it’s so simple to prepare and the children will love creating vibrant colours and mixing them to make new colours.

This large scale colourful painting is fun to paint and creating the car and cloud is a great way to develop fine motor skills.

CALM DOWN SENSORY BOTTLES

As the name describes they are great for calming down kids who are in timeout, bored & fidgety in the car, anxious or struggling with sensory overload. Focusing on the objects in the calm down jar will help a child calm down and focus their attention. 

This craft was fun to make and can be a very useful tool after class.

FUN BOXES

Make these colourful fun boxes with 2 - 4 games inside.

The parents and children both loved this craft as it provided a lot of fine motor skill stimulation and hours of play after class.

ipads

This is a really fun craft to make and will provide hours of play afterwards. It was a hit especially with the 4 and 5 year olds. The children really loved the iPad ‘touch screen goo’ and to move their iPad icons into place, its educational and fun. This craft is a must for all branch owners!

Humpty Dumpty DOORSTOP

The children really loved filling their Humpty Dumpty’s with sand couldn’t believe how heavy and squishy it got. Plan this for a nice day as you need to be outside when working with sand.

CATERPILLARS

Make a fluffy, floppy, huggable and cuddly soft toy caterpillar. This is a really easy and enjoyable craft for the kids and the adults.

BUTTERFLY WINGS

This is a fantastic follow up class after the caterpillar class. Remember to tell the kids about the wings when you make caterpillars to create excitement.

They will fly home after this class :).

JELLY FISH

Ask the children if they have visited the local aquarium. What did they like best? We are always in awe of watching the beautiful jellyfish swim around in their tanks. Make your own multi coloured jelly fish today.

A rain stick is originally made from hollowed plant stalks which, when turned, produces a pattering sound similar to that of rain. The sound produced by the instrument has contributed to the common notion that the rain stick has historically been used in rituals to summon rain.

This craft is a hit for all ages!

With this craft we will be working with SHAVING FOAM! Shaving foam is one of the best materials for sensory play – it’s like bubble bath foam that doesn’t fade away! Sensory play encourages children to manipulate and mold materials, building up their fine motor skills and coordination.
